The Rib Eye at Sutter's Mill is perfection! I ordered it medium-rare, and it was cooked exactly right, lightly seasoned with no frills, as a proper piece of beef should be. It was seared nicely, and wonderfully juicy and tender. I ordered my steak with a salad and loaded baked potato. I love that the salad comes out almost immediately so you can enjoy it while waiting for your main course, and it's presented beautifully on a chilled plate, with the dressing served in an elegant "gravy-boat". The loaded baked potato... WOW! Nicely seasoned, fluffy, and filled with warm goodness, topped by a light broil crisp. It's a meal in itself! I paired all this with a Beefeater Martini, made to my liking perfectly, extra dry, stirred, with a twist. I cannot speak highly enough of the bartenders (Carrie and Zoey), the kitchen, and all of the staff. I'm proud to have this restaurant in Simi Valley, and look forward to my next visit very soon.
